These two beautiful Texas Longhorn Steers came bursting through the round pen gate at The New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum with such a burst of energy, it was like they did it on cue for a movie production company making a Western movie. Each of these steers weighed about 1750 pounds, so you can imagine what it would feel like to be up close to almost two tons of beef moving at locomotive speed, as they made their grand entrance.
