| This gorgeous Texas longhorn steer resides in central Texas. He had an incredible personality. The amazing thing about “William,” who was so named by the breeders, is he was happily grazing by himself when he saw that my husband, Jerry, and I were in his “inner circle”. Without missing a beat, he ambled up to a beautiful, multi-colored bull, named LP Tomcat, and nudged him with the tip of one of his horns. Tomcat stopped grazing, backed up, and the two Longhorns proceeded to butt heads. Lowering their heads, they would advance forward, collide in mock battle, back up and look our way like little children wanting their parents to notice them playing. The interesting thing is that they never once tangled their horns, but tilted their heads appropriately to miss getting their horns locked. Now, that’s precision! |
