This beautiful Longhorn bull says it all. It is amazing how he gracefully reaches that sweet spot with the very tip of one of his long horns, to satisfy an obvious itch. I decided the moment I saw this young bull stretching toward this one spot that needed to be scratched, that he reminded me of the song, “I feel Good,” that the late singer, James Brown, made famous many years ago. The amazing thing is that Longhorns know just where their horns are, and can use them in this manner. This young fellow resides at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, where he is part of the breeding program and parade of breeds.
