This lovely “brown” mottled Longhorn cow is simply exquisite. Longhorns are beautiful bovine, sporting their many styles of horn shapes, and loud coloring, such as splashes of red and white, black and white, and just a wonderful array of colors and patterns, which, incidentally gives them that wow look. What caught my eye about this particular cow was the fact that she was all brown, except for some dark mottled spots, and not one speck of white anywhere on her. She didn’t need “color” to show off who she was. She has a beautiful, doe-like quality face, beautifully shaped, gently slopping horns that rise up gradually to their tips, and gorgeous, soft eyes, the color of amber. This cow is part of a Longhorn herd in central Texas.
