| This stunning, Longhorn steer, just seemed to be the ultimate of his species. His horns were magnificent, having that beautiful long, slow slope, before beginning their long journey upwards to the tips of his horns. Not only did he have gorgeous horns, but he was spectacularly colored in black, tan and white. I saw him at the Texas Longhorn Legacy sale a few years ago. Each time I past his pen, he seemed to be staring off into the distant, maybe wanting to return to his pasture. |
